Developmental Community Music (DCM) is a comprehensive approach to facilitating group music making that makes it easy to present enriching, dynamic and educational rhythm-based activities for groups of all kinds. Developed by Orff-Schulwerk Practitioner, Professional Percussionist and Award-winning Author, Kalani, DCM makes it easy for anyone to create memorable events that connect, educate, and inspire.

DCM is an effective way to help people enjoy expressing themselves, listening with their whole body, working together towards a common goal, and sharing their creative and collective spirits through active play. DCM is much more than drum circle facilitation or group drumming. It's a holistic approach that incorporates music therapy techniques, movement and dance, expressive arts, and other wellness practices.

DCM training is presented in multiple levels that support the student through a process of skill and knowledge development.

The books, DVD, web-site and live training courses offer multiple levels of support that make learning and applying the Drum Circle Music approach both accessible and effective.
