Music Matters located in Batavia, IL is proud to announce the addition of our Girls Rock Band Program. This is designed for girls ages 8-12 years old who play guitar, piano, drums, or sing. The goal of this class is to have students express themselves in a fun and safe environment. Jeff Matter, Music Matters director states, “This is something we have wanted to do for a long time. We are glad we can offer an opportunity for our girl students to come together and celebrate music and each other.”
Why this class rocks? Students get to pick out songs they want to play, have a photo shoot, record all their tunes, get a CD at the end of the class and perform on a concert for friends and family. WHOA! Classes taught by professional female instructors who are active gigging musicians.
Music Matters also has rock band class open to all its students.
